Working while studying

If you are the holder of an Australian student visa, you can undertake employment while in Australia.

Recently, The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) amended the conditions for working while studying.

The change allows greater flexibility for students working part time. Student visa holders can work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight (instead of 20 hours per week) while their course is in session and full time during study breaks.
